Who We Are

Lava Financing & Investments Limited is a dynamic and customer-centric Microcredit Institution ,Licensed by the Bank of Jamaica. We are in operation from 2019 where the business was then registered as a partnership and later changed to a Limited Liability Company following the microcredit Law which was passed in January 2021 and took effect in July 2021 that stated in section 9 (1) of the Microcredit Act, no person shall carry on, or hold himself out as carrying on or engaging in microcredit services  or business unless he holds a licensed issues under the microcredit Act to do so. We later got the Approval from the Bank of Jamaica that it is was okay for us to continue serving our clients in the best way we know how.

We currently operate from one branch where it is our intention to open other offices across Jamaica in the near future.
